Honoring a Legacy of Helping Children

On June 9th, CASA of the River Region will hold the 4th Annual Cindy Prestigiacomo Memorial CASA Golf Scramble. This event, started in memory of Cindy Prestigiacomo, the late Executive Director of the CASA of Bullitt County Program, highlights her memory and brings awareness to the CASA program in Bullitt County.

“Cindy was a dear colleague and friend, and it was an honor to work with her to help children in our area” remarked William Myers, President & CEO of CASA of the River Region. “When CASA of Bullitt County merged with CASA of the River Region in 2022, it was important for us to honor Cindy’s long legacy to the children of Bullitt County.”

The event will be held at Heritage Hill and, as a new feature this year, features two shotgun starts in the morning at 8:00 am and afternoon at 2:00 pm. Foursomes are $500 and include lunch, greens & cart fees, and use of practice facilities. The money raised goes to support the recruitment, training, and support of volunteers serving children who have experienced abuse and neglect in our area. Register here or contact Nicole at nicole@casarr.org or 502-400-8040 to learn more.
