Looking for a worthwhile opportunity to make an impact in 2023? CASA of the River Region added 72 amazing volunteers in 2022, but we need additional help to ensure more children receive the life-changing support of a trusted, caring advocate. We have some exciting plans to make volunteering easier and more accessible in 2023!
1. Get acquainted with CASA via Zoom or by Video! We ask each volunteer to attend a CASA 101 session to learn the basics of what it means to be a CASA volunteer. We will continue our CASA 101 Zoom classes but will soon be launching a video version of this training with a short informational survey that can be taken any time to add a more flexible/easy option for you to get started with CASA.
2. In person pre-service training is coming back! CASA of the River Region will move to a hybrid model, where pre-services are offered online or in person on alternating months. Our in-person classes will meet at our Louisville office. Both trainings continue to be 5 weeks long.
We want to ensure you have every opportunity to sign up to help the children in our community.
